Oh, how wonderful. How perfect. How perfectly normal!

I remember Em's first day of kindergarten, too, and how she was the only child out of 20 who cried. Sobbed, actually. And how surprised I was...my socially advanced, preschool-acclimated kid was the only one to lose it. But then I thought about it differently, a positive, a sign of our connection. (Yeah, I know, but that's the only way I could walk away from the gate that day!)

Tell Damian how intensely proud of him we are. And here's to many more great days.
