I was keen to hear about the last two debates, reading the blog world's take and comparing the opinion polls and so on. But this one? Completely off my radar.

I am way too depressed about last night's election results here in the antipodeans to have the stomach for US presidential debates. I plan to just close my eyes and hope things go better there on November 2 than they did here on October 9.

Kay, I'm sorry about how it turned out in Australia. And oh man, how I hope it doesn't presage a similar result here!! I completely understand losing your stomach for political news. It happened to me four years ago.
