Comments: turnout

As a student at LSU, I voted at the grade school right off campus. It was on the same road that has the Theatre building and heading to the lakes crossing Highland Road.

I know how the rain goes. We're in Portland...it wouldn't be election day without standing in the rain for hours.

That's cool. Rain usually keeps people at home, but that doesn't seem to be the case anywhere this year. People cared more about this election than they have in a very long time.

The turnout was really the only thing I took away from watching that made me feel good. It's good to know people are mobilized to vote in greater numbers than ever before. I just wish they'd have voted sanely and reasonably instead of with their intuition, you know? I know Kerry doesn't exactly instill a lot of confidence, but this is one case where the devil you know just simply isn't better than the devil you don't...

I'm so glad I'm Canadian. My thoughts are with y'all down there. :)
