In any crisis like this one or any that have fallen upon our shores, we all feel helpless as though we can't do anything within our power to make a difference.

Some people have the means (read that to mean financially or with vacation time to take time off work) to fly half way round the world to be there in person. Others have the financial means to donate to charity to further the cause and help rebuild a community with much needed funds.

One way we ALL can help in this crisis that CAN make a HUGE difference.

Give the gift of life.

Give blood.

It's not much, just a bit of your time and part of what you come by naturally. Almost everyone can do it. You know you are one of the few who can't because your doctor has discussed this with you already. Those of you who've not had that unpleasant conversation and are HIV/AIDS or any other communicable disease free.....give. Give now.

It will make all the difference to someone who needs YOU.
