Whew. I am relieved that somebody I tagged played along!

Very cool blog. I loved the entry about reading. I have been a voracious reader ever since kindergarten and could identify with alot of your points. Came through BE.

i also used to read under my covers with a flashlight, trying to fool my parents into thinking i was asleep. never worked. my mom liked to tell me my eyes would fall out of my head if i didn't put the book down and sleep. that never happened but i do need contact lenses.
and, like you, i still stay up all night till i finish a book i'm loving. no matter what i have to do the next day.

But, no fair. I'm onto you all now though. :)

I second the annual rereading. I have been through "A Wrinkle in Time" maybe 200 times by now and I can never get enough of it. I swear I can remember reaching for it in my elementary school library for the first time when I was in the 6th grade. It never fails to make me feel good - about everything.

Shit. I think I need to reread it right now!

My dad caught me reading under the covers with a flashlight and chewed me out for ruining my eyes, turned on the light, shut the door and went back to bed.
