In reference to your post a few days ago...I'm thinking of buying an Element. Do you mind telling me what year you have, manual or auto trans, and what kind of mileage do you get? Thanks so much, another artist who has to haul stuff!

I have a 2005, all-wheel-drive, automatic. It had 12 kms on it when I bought it in April. It's a delight to drive. Handles very easily. I haven't been through a winter with it yet but so far even in heavy rain it is better than my Toyata 4-Runner was. The mileage is half-good, not great. My only complaints are the visibility is compromised when the back seats are up (which they usually are for me) and I don't care for the way the back doors open although it does make for easier loading. Overall, I love the car and am happy to have it.

Thanks for the info. Do you know the mpg, or rather the kilometers per gallon?
